B.A.D. GYM URAWA is one minute on foot from the west exit of Kita-Urawa Station on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line. One stop earlier is Omiya, where all six shinkansen lines - Tohoku, Hokkaido, Akita, Yamagata, Joetsu and Hokuriku - stop. Get off the shinkansen at Omiya: three local stops, seven minutes. From northern Japan, Shinetsu and Hokuriku, this can be closer than a gym in central Tokyo.
There is no car park and no bicycle parking. If you drive, please use a paid car park nearby. Please do not leave bicycles in front of the building or on the surrounding streets.
You can train here by the day without joining. Drop-in use is possible from 1 October 2026, when the gym opens. On your first visit we ask you to show identification and agree to the rules at reception. There is no registration fee.
All prices include tax. There is no joining fee for drop-in use. Payment is cashless only; we do not accept cash. Whether cards issued outside Japan are accepted is still being confirmed.
Personal sessions with Yusuke Suzuki (twice world champion at the IPF World Classic Bench Press Championships in 2018 and 2019, seven national titles) are Only on the days he is in the gym, by appointment. He travels between here and the original gym in Matsumoto, Nagano, so the days he is here change every month. Fix your travel dates once his schedule is published.
All prices include tax. Personal sessions are only on the days Yusuke Suzuki is in the gym, by appointment. The booking route is still being set up.

You are travelling a long way, so here is what could trip you up once you arrive.
Use of the gym is from age 18 (16 and 17 with written consent from a parent or guardian). In the free-weight area, please keep at least one metre from other people. For details, see Terms and Safety and risk.
New membership is not open yet, so We are not taking applications at the moment. Drop-in use starts on 1 October 2026, and the booking route for personal sessions is still being set up. Both will be announced on Yusuke Suzuki's Instagram @bodyartdesign .
