Suzuki coaches from the idea that the bench press is body control. You lie down and press against the bar as though pushing off the ground through your hands. It is not an arm exercise: how you use your feet, your back and your breathing changes what you can lift. The B.A.D. Method breaks that idea into steps a beginner can follow.
At B.A.D. GYM URAWA he supervises the method and, on the days he is in the gym, gives personal sessions and form clinics. He is on the floor roughly one day a week; the day varies. The latest dates are announced on Yusuke Suzuki's Instagram (@bodyartdesign).
The school runs on DMM Online Salon and is taught in Japanese. The member price applies only through the sign-up page we send you when you join the gym.
